Hey I just stumbled across your site not too long ago...love the reviews...and I really enjoyed the podcast. It is refreshing to listen to intelligent talk about genre films, about various artistic merits and not scoff because of acting/dubbing/low budget=low quality or whatever else. And hey...some movies are just supposed to be fun, right?

Your topic inspired me to re-visit The Beyond which I hadn't seen in years...I had forgotten a number of the scenes...the dog attack on Emily? Reminded me a bit of the blind piano player from Suspiria...but Fulci raised the stakes with the throat AND the ear! My favorite bits from this and City are when reality just starts falling apart...anything can happen at any time...

One of my favorite parts from City is the hellish flames in the apartment after the seance, that roar up and roar back, with that disturbing growling.

House=liked it, but seriously, how sinister can a basement be after 10 times of going up and down the stairs?? I did like the little girl ghost appearing now and then...

Anyway...I'll check back for reviews and the next installmenet. Keep up the good work...any idea about the next topic??

Thanks...
