(I suspect it would be possible, though very boring, to tell his stories without actually showing any zombies. They really have that little to do with the plot.)<BR/><BR/>The people in Snyder's version, however, exist solely to be chased by zombies. There's no consideration of what life might be like or what we'll do when the world is overrun by zombies (a question Romero himself answered in <I>Land of the Dead</I>). Their only worry is how to run away or kill zombies. The producers probably should have just waited for <I>Land</I> to come out, because it showed it is possible to make an action movie with a brain.
